Author Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Global Research Journal of Natural Science and Technology (GRJNST) are required to adhere to the highest standards of scholarly conduct. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Adherence to Journal Standards
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply fully with GRJNST’s formatting, structural, and ethical guidelines. This includes proper use of the journal’s templates, referencing style, figure and table formats, and adherence to word limits and section requirements.
  2. Accuracy and Integrity of Data
All authors are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and verifiable data. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of research findings is strictly prohibited. Raw data should be maintained and made available upon request for verification purposes.
  3. Timely Communication and Revisions
Authors must respond promptly to all editorial queries, reviewer comments, and requests for revisions. Failure to communicate in a timely manner may result in delays in processing or even rejection of the manuscript.
  4. Disclosure of Funding, Affiliations, and Conflicts of Interest
Authors are required to declare all sources of funding, institutional affiliations, and any potential conflicts of interest. Transparency in financial and personal interests ensures unbiased evaluation of the research.
  5. Confidentiality
During the review process and post-publication, authors must maintain strict confidentiality. Manuscript contents, reviewer identities, and editorial decisions should not be disclosed or discussed outside the appropriate channels.
  6. Compliance with Ethical Standards
For research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive environmental studies, authors must provide evidence of ethical approval from recognized institutional review boards or ethics committees. Authors are also responsible for obtaining informed consent when applicable.
  7. Responsible Citation Practices
Authors must ensure that all sources of information, data, or previous research are appropriately cited. Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication must be avoided. All reproduced material must include proper permissions.
  8. Post-Publication Accountability
Authors remain responsible for the integrity of their work after publication. Errors, corrections, or retractions should be reported promptly to the editorial office to maintain the scientific record’s accuracy.
  9. Collaboration and Authorship Contribution
All co-authors must have contributed significantly to the work and approved the final manuscript. The roles of each author should be clearly stated according to the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to ensure transparency of contributions.
  10. Compliance with Open Access Policies
Authors must agree to the journal’s open access policies, including the distribution and licensing of published articles under Creative Commons licenses, and must ensure that any third-party material included in the manuscript has been legally cleared for open distribution.
